Yesterday’s Machines (OP-1F)
A faded future pulled from cassette hiss and warm static.
This version of Yesterday’s Machines features 120 presets designed for the OP–1 Field—atmospheric keys, dusty pads, digital choirs, lo-fi textures, Vangelis-style leads, and sounds that wouldn’t feel out of place on a lost Aphex Twin tape or early Eno experiment.
Unlike the OP–XY version, these are single-sample instruments, sculpted to take advantage of the OP–1 Field’s unique sampler engine—less hi-fi, more texture-forward.
Imperfect, emotional, and often beautifully strange.
Perfect for ambient music, cinematic sketches, or vintage-sounding beat scenes.
Use them as foundations, layers, or sparks for something new.
I didn’t make a video for the OP-1f but you can hear the sounds in video below.
